​​ At Sugar Me Spa, we have set out to bring you an environment where the highest levels of skin and body care are provided to nurture the well being of mind, body and spirit. It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service by trained professionals in the most relaxing environment for our clients.

In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Certificates may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancellation policy are provided below.

New Clients:
We can't wait for you to visit our spa! Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes in advance to fill out intake forms, so you do not miss out on well-deserved treatment time. 

Late Arrivals:

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Cancellations/No Shows:
Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa's scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. 
Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the full cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.  

For gift certificates, pre-paid services or third party vouchers a no show or a cancellation outside of the 24 hour window voids the voucher.  You will not be able to redeem it. 

Child Safety Policy:
At Sugar Me Spa, we understand that you expect - and deserve - the very best. In fairness to our guests, for safety purposes and in accordance with liability insurance laws, children are not permitted without an appointment and may not wait in the lobby unless supervised by an adult. This will give you a chance to do what you wanted to do... time time for yourself and relax. You deserve it! 

Spa Promotions/Specials: 
Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third part gift certificates. 

Packages are good from one year of date of purchase. Packages are non-transferable, and may only be used by one person. They are not substitutable toward other services.  Packages are non-refundable. 

Gift Certificate Policy:
Gift Certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased at the spa, by phone at 941-706-0715. Out of town? Too busy? No problem. We will mail your gift certificate to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. 

Product Return Policy:
It is our mission to provide you with the highest-quality of skin and body care products with your services. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day in your own home! In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately, we cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead a credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other skin care products available
here at Sugar Me Spa.



Here are some conditions for which a Facial, Acne Treatment, or Wax is contraindicated (not recommended) or conditions that may cause us to modify your treatment:

Current or recent use of Accutane (must have discontinued Accutane for 6 months or more)
Current or recent use of Retinols such as Tretinoin, Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac, Avage, EpiDuo, Ziana and high-percentage AHA and BHA products.  We require temporarily discontinuing use of these products for 5-7 days prior to your service. Please consult with your Doctor before temporarily discountinuing use of any prescription medications.

  • Sunburn on the face or area being treated
  • Open cuts or abrasions on the area being treated
  • Bruises and swelling (Get your physician’s approval for a treatment)
  • Active herpes lesions/Cold Sores
  • Conjuctivitis (“pink eye”)
  • Severe eczema
  • Severe psoraisis
  • Impetigo
  • Fungal infection
  • Extreme allergic sensitivities
  • Illness – please reschedule as a courtesy to the staff and other clients
  • Recent Botox or Filler treatment (no facial treatments within 48 hours for Botox, 2 weeks for Filler). 
  • Recent laser treatment (wait at least 2 weeks)
  • Facials/Acne Treatments:  Do not wax the facial area within 7 days of your service
  • Pregnancy: if you are pregnant or nursing let us know so we can make treatment adjustments if required.
  • Health Conditions: please provide a Doctor’s note if you are undergoing treatment for any severe health conditions.
  • Please note that if you arrive to your appointment with any of these contraindications, you may be asked to reschedule and a $30 reschedule fee may apply.
